Description

TWO (2) alley street lights are not operating nor have the been operating for THREE weeks now (today's date: Monday, April 03, 2017). The location of the ALLEY street lights are in the ALLEY behind 1223 S St. NW, Washington, D.C. AND 1233 S St. NW, Washington, D.C.. Please know that we have reported this on several instances in the last three (3) weeks. We have confirmation numbers for our 311 call ins AND screenshots of our earlier DC 311 Reports concerning these inoperable ALLEY streetlights. Also, it is without question that no less than five (5) incidents of vandalism and graffiti on private and city property, two (2) robberies, three (3) attempted burglaries and three (3) thefts have a direct correlation to the darkness of this neighborhood alley due to these broken streetlights. PLEASE, SOMETHING needs to be done now! We cannot go another week in darkness. The safety AND security is paramount is for all that live on this street. We CANNOT live another night in darkness and danger.
