Can we get an update? As either department followed through.

Why do these cases just get closed. The problem isn't resolved? So the roots just keep going over the curbs up here, perhaps as the original requester asked, maybe it is time to remove the tree. These are dangerous.

How many people need to get hurt before sidewalk is fixed?

8/13/2013 - Thanks for your communication with Richmond City Sidewalk Mgmt Team noted that as of 5/3/2013 the sidewalk was noted as in OK condition - a tree assessment was request for tree roots and Richmond Tree Management Team (20020878804) noted that as of 4/15/2013 that the tree has been pruned, nothing to be done about tree growing over curb - case file is closed. Since you reopened I will ask them to double check to see if they will shave the tree roots down to increase pedestrian safety (20020912635) - rtt
