Much of North Medford was scheduled for Street Sweeping today, but due to inclement weather, it was cancelled. No notification of the cancellation was provided to residents, which would have been appreciated. Most residents of Leonard Circle scrambled to get their vehicles off the street per request of Captain Clemente, and the threat of towing and ticketing. Please let us know what day, if any, our streets will be rescheduled for cleaning. Lord knows they need it. Thanks.

Hi, Allison.... Hoping to hear back from you regarding this issue. My fear is that the cleaning will take place while there are the usual 15 cars parked on the street. We need at least a day to alert neighbors to move their vehicles. Thanks.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, but a Reverse 911 did go out to notify residence that street sweeping would be cancelled on the 21st of April. Also, it was posted on the web page. Please be advised that your street will be rescheduled at the end of regular street sweeping schedule.

Thanks, Mary, but nobody on Leonard Circle received the Reverse 911 call. I understand that it will be reschduled at the end of the schedule, but I am asking that we be given at least a day's notice to get cars off the street. If the Sweepers arrive without notice, it will be useless.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but we did request that a Reverse 911 be sent out to all residents that were going to be swept on Friday, April 21, 2017. I also posted it on the web page. Your area will be rescheduled at the end of the regular "Big Sweep" schedule.

Weather permitting, Leonard Circle will be swept on May 1, 2017. A Reverse 911 will go out. Also, will be posted on the City's web page.

Thanks, Mary. A call was received regarding the street sweeping. However, several cars remain parked in the street despite the announcement.

Sweepers just did their job on Leonard Circle, but because no enforcement was done to remove parked cars on the street, it was only half cleaned. Better than nothing, I guess.
