Description
This issue has been reported before but the problem remains. The storm drain is inadequate and frequently debris obstructs the opening. I believe it needs a French drain across the two driveways. It took more than 24 hours to go down. I could not drive through the water and had to park on the street. Something to prevent debris from blocking the storm drain opening would be helpful as well. When there was the major flooding in Ellucott City last year, the standing water at my driveway was 27 inches ( one inch below my neighbor'svretaining wall ). Another storm after that summer, left 12 inches of water which took several hours to go down.today, the standing water was at least 4-5 inches. I cannot get my mail or trash cans without going through the standing water and getting soaked.
I have additional photos.

That is only a temporary fix until the next storm. Even without blockage I have 2-3 inches on standing water in trying to get to my mailbox my shoes get soaked. EVERY rain.
Can't we do more? When Darrol ( something ) was out the first time he mentioned a French drain.
