Supervisor followed up on May 2, 2017. Because of the fence that was put up, we are unable to access the pile of brush in back of the property. We will refer this issue to Code Enforcement to ensure that this is in compliance. In order for us to service the brush, please relocate to the front of the property and please let us know so that we may schedule its removal once it is ready.

Code enforcement should be aware of the property owner installing fence blocking alley.

If they are and the resident at this location is not in violation, then there is really nothing we can do other than suggest moving the brush to the front of the property so that we may service it. I have already emailed this department and made them aware of the current issue with the brush and the fence just in case they were not aware so that we may get a resolution.

The brush will continue to be placed that area, the people who walk in the park pickup palm tree branches nd throw them on the pile. They do this to keep the park clean. The resident who lives on the corner of 8th nd Hill placed the majority of the brush before he erected the fence. This will eventually become a hazard to the residents who walk in the park.

Brush removed by Right of Way as per referral. Issue with fence has been referred over to Code Enforcement for resolution. For brush removal, brush must be placed in front of the residences since we no longer have access to the rear section. If brush is placed in the back by residents walking the park, please contact Right of Way for removal if unable to relocate to the front to be removed when we are in the area for brush collection.
