I so agree with you. I am not sure why Virginia Beach has become so run down in many areas and it is just spreading. If the city does not care for their public properties it does have an effect on surrounding properties and then citizens get lazy about how their private property looks. And yes you are correct that is just keeps getting passed around. I have been trying to get Potters Road cleaned for months to no avail! I definitely understand your frustration!

It doesn't help matters when code enforcement just throws and shovels everything from the street to the grass. Landscaping has already been there to mow, and they don't even know how to do that right. Mowed right around some trash, and right over some other trash. And because someone left a bag of grass clippings on the sidewalk, someone else saw that as an invitation to put their trash there. The stupidity is amazing, to say the least...

Code Enforcement has responded to this location 4X's and has found no violations. Please contact them at 757-385-4421 Option #1 for future concerns.

Of course not. It seems they need glasses. Everything that was in the street is now up on the grass. All they did was move the issue up off the street and not clean it up. Then Landscape management doesn't care, because they just mow over all the trash anyway and scatter it even more.Way to go, Virginia Beach. Everyone points at everyone else and says it is their issue and it either doesn't get done or it literally gets swept up somewhere else and again, nobody cleans it up. Should I take everything from that area and put it back onto the street? I don't understand the apathy. At least someone picked up the bag of grass clippings and the trash someone put with it further up the street. I would love to have their jobs. Driving around in a nice comfy truck with air conditioning and saying there are no violations. Of course not..
