Good catch on this gap in a critical area between a playground a youth center and two elementary schools. A child was struck by a car near here several years ago. A crosswalk would increase safety for many vulnerable users.

Any updates on this? Still used daily for after school programs going to/from the Boys & Girls Club & IAA.

There is still a need for this crosswalk. The other request for a crosswalk at Archibald/Walnut was completed during the recent sidewalk replacement, but this request was not filled. Hopefully this can be reconsidered in the future as it is still used daily for 3rd & 4th graders in the after school program at the B&G club.

Thanks for putting this crosswalk in. I escort an unruly group of kids across this street and this crosswalk keeps them from running randomly across. More importantly it helps young kids when they are not escorted.
