Descrição
All of the dirt that was laid on 68th ave has thousands of pieces of glass and old rusted sharp metal in the bern all along 68th ave that is sticking out. Where are these contractors getting the fill from? The dump? The bottle depot?
Even if top soil and sod is laid along the berm, the glass and debris will slowly come to surface over the years. What is going on with this strip of construction? This glass/metal pile cannot stay.

Hello,
We appologize for our delay in response. Thank you for your comment and concern. The materials used to construct the berm along 68 Avenue came from the area where the newly twinned road and eastbound bridge lay. When the land was dug up to create the new road and bridge, the City took the opportunity to recycle and reuse it to construct the new berm. These materials were taken directly from the dug up area and used on the berm in the exact state in which they were recovered.
