The first 20-40 yards of Kendall Rd off Waltham St are almost impossible to drive without hitting (hard) several potholes.

Any way to patch this?

I believe this road is purposely maintained in this condition to minimize it use as a cut through to Marrett Road.

What is the issue with Kendall Rd.? It's a health and safety issue. You have to snake your way on this section, often times having to drive on the wrong side of the road. The roads in the town are in serious trouble. I believe they need to be put as a top priority for attention.

My understanding is that this section of Kendall is a private way and the Town can't fix it unless the neighbors want it to. (which it appears they do not want)

If it is a private road, then there should be signs saying it is private. It is town owned, but they are not repairing it because the residents don't want it to be used as a cut through then that is a bigger issue in my mind. Taxes are paid by all, and the level of service we receive shouldn't be dictated by a few.
