RRC-Wassem,
(1) My complaint is about the structural integrity and general safety of this structure.
(2) I’m concerned about fire safety, because burning candles and fragrances are used during their 4 to 12 monthly assemblages. (Please note that there is tent material used on the sides & part of the roof.)
(3) The excessive noise during these assemblages, which include loud drumming, horn blowing and screaming. All which can happen at any hour and can be heard indoors a block over. (Noise complaint logs to JCPD South can be provided.)
(4) This structure is an eyesore that blights our neighborhood. My understanding is that an accessory structures like fences have to have some kind of conformity and kept in good repair. The pictures sent show this not to be the case, and illustrate these complaints.
Best regards.

H C Enforcement,
Thanks for your response. I'm unclear as to "will have to be reassigned".
The main concern in my email was the safety issues addressed about the accessory structure that leans off of the house.
Indeed what is used for fencing could be described as "cut & paste". It doesn't present as much as a safety issue as the accessory structure.
Heads up to the inspector that comes out for the fence. Be careful of the poison ivy growing on it.
Best regards.

With all due respect. I have been provided the same answer today (7/31) as I was on 7/24) when this complaint was closed without any answers to the open questions I have.
I would like to be provided with the specifics and details concerning the violation(s) issued. This property has a history of violations and ignoring them, dating back to 2012.
1. I would like to know the type of violation(s) that were issued.
2. I would like to know the municipal code number(s)
that were involved with issuing this violation(s).
3. On 7/12 "Everything else needs to be reassigned" was included in the response. I asked for clarification on that comment and did not receive any. So I would like to have an explanation as to what that meant, and an answer if it has been reassigned and to whom.
Answers to these questions will be very appreciated.

RRC-Waseem,
Thank you for sending the PDF. It has addressed the fence issues at 205 Winfield Ave.
What remains unaddressed is what is being done about the safety issues I've presented concerning the accessory building/structure,
that is attached to the back of the house.
1. Was a permit obtained to build it.
2. Has it been inspected for structural integrity. (pic’s show extreme roof sagging)
3. Is there a C.O. for their frequent assemblages.
4. Has a fire inspection been made. (candles and burning fragrance are used)
5. Are electrical connections code compliant.
6. Are there are there properly installed gutters and leaders.
Lastly does this property comply with the following Code of Ordinances,
of property maintenance of an accessory building/structure? (345-6 definitions accessory structures)
254-43. (3) (maintenance of exterior of premises)
254-44. (B) (appearance of exterior of premises)
254-44. (B)-(2) (general maintenance)
254-45. (A) (general safety and sanitation)
254-45. (A)-(7)-(B) (roof)
254-60. (A) (general responsibilities)
345-40.1-R-1A (one and two family housing district)
(E)-10. maximum accessory building height: Fifteen (15) feet.
(E)-11. minimum accessory building setbacks: rear yard three (3) feet
side yard: two (2) feet.
345-62. ((B) (residential design standards)
I would appreciated it greatly if these potential violations can be forwarded to the proper officials,
so a possible hazardous event can be avoided.
Again many thanks for all of your help.
Best regards.

Their backyard structures roof still looks like it will collapse shortly.
Rain water from that structure still drains on to the surrounding properties.
Last Sunday 8/6 starting at 11:00 am, the neighborhood had to endure once again the usual 5 + hours of horn blowing, drumming and screaming that emanates from inside of their backyard structure...
