The county does not maintain private property.

But this community doesn't have an HOA. The county is the one who painted it and put the letters on it so therefore why won't the county fix it.

I doubt that it was the County who installed it originally but I will check tomorrow to be sure. If the marquee is on private property which it appears it is, and you don't have an active HOA, then the members of the community would have to come together to make the repairs.

It was installed years ago when the community was built but was recently painted and updated. After talking with neighbors it was determined that one of the neighbors actually hit it. I can provide you with the information of person who hit it if the county can do anything about it.

This is private property and therefore the County can't make the repair.
