Is e City of Fremont possibly not understanding the purpose of this site? Understandably it is new technology. The City has obviously agreed to participate so they should handle the responses appropriately. Unfortunately, every reply from the City on here references a phone number to call or email address to write to get the problem fixed. That is not the purpose of this site. This site is called "See Click FIX", not 'See Click Get A Phone Number to Call to Get It Fixed".
Only two of the issues reported on here in Fremont been corrected and closed out. The one major issue I reported many months ago hasn't been corrected. Doesn't seem like reporting concerns on this site does any good. Or perhaps Fremont doesn't care or doesn't have any money to fix their infrastructure.

This is in response to non-response. The city of Fremont has established itself as servants or money. Not as assumed guardians of public trust safety and welfare. The mayor and city council on down turn a blind eye toward civil standards, transperancy in government and public awareness. I have been a resident of Fremont since 1973 and a business owner General Contractor since 1981. Employing up to eight personally,and directing crews of fifty or more on multiple projects ranging from thousands to 7 million dollars. Commercial and residential. If your under the delusional opinion that the city government is doing its job, submit a request for public information to any department in the public trust. Meaning any entity your over taxed dollars support. The lack of respect and the failure to receive assistance from " public services " aka police, fire, building officials, the council members OR even the mayors office is revoltingly short sighted.. They are paid by our tax dollars and actually required by federal law to provide you and I with the personal assistance to fulfill any requests submitted with in 7 business days, Oh and once the information is submitted if at all will be highly edited to eliminate any facts that could be questioned. It's sad but true, normal citizens of Fremont are nothing more than revenue resources. After all is said and done Fremont will be pawns of corporate moguls and will suffer from the loss of suburban retreat once easily accomplished here. Good luck trying to get results with a government that now says residences are responsible for city failure to repair an ever deteriating streets curbs and sidewalk. Do you know with out public approval the city has determined YOU are responsible for the sidewalk in front of your house. And the truth is the city did not fix issues with past landscaping that has rendered you liable for any lawsuits on city owned property . The cracks heaving dangers of uneven side walks, and wheelchair safety on your barrage approaches were the cities responsibility. WAS is the key word. Again good luck getting results
