It is illegal to travel from the exit ramp across to the opposing entrance ramp. Drivers must obey the pavement markings and regulatory signage which dictate that you must turn right or left exiting the freeway at those locations. If you get off the freeway too early, go to a nearby driveway and turn around and re-enter the freeway legally.
