UDOT is aware of the bump EB but it is not remotely as rough as the bumps were Westbound. We has a limited amount of funds to make this repair, the WB joints needed the work badly and it was felt that the joints EB could wait. I cannot tell you what the plan are, if any, to do work on the EB joints. But I will find out and report back.

I have talked with our maintenance team who tell me they are going to get a bid to grind and pave the EB to make it a smoother ride, like they did west bound. This is in the discussion and planning stage so we do not know when this work will be performed as it is unscheduled (not in the long-term maintenance plan). Watch this space-- as soon as we know something -- no pun intended-- concrete, we'll let you know.

Please continue to pursue the EB side of Riverdale Road Bridge. We really appreciate what was accomplished on the other side!

EB was and has always been just as bad as WB. This is very obvious and if anything, Riverdale City should be getting involved and funding this if no one else can.

UDOT's Ogden Maintenance Station now has plans to pave the bridge deck in the next couple weeks (as soon as the weather is good again). This work will occur at night. We believe this will make the transition smoother and negate the problems motorists have been experiencing.

This bridge joint was repaired last night.
