The city owned lot on Pembroke St and across from315-300 Nichols St is being used by a homeowner and bar owner as personal property! I watch him dump oil and other waste material on this land. Many requests have been made to have this investigation started. Talking to this person spokeperson he informed me that nothing will ever be done because he has a"deal" with city hall. As long as he mows plows ect this lot. City Hall will look the other way .A guy from Woodbridge was ask by the city not to take care of city property. Bridgeport must have different laws. If someone at the swap meets or bar gets injured the taxpayers Aren't responsible that's part of the "deal" they informed me.Back to the dumping issue could someone check it out ? He just had Burns Construction Co there with a backhoe to move sand and cover up the oil. We employ Burns on a Saturday??Listen as a taxpayer I thought back room "deals" we're over with Mayor Ganim not according to Mr. Muniz spokesperson !!! I'm thinking about contacting Frank Recchia from News 12 maybe he could get to the bottom of this. Somethings never change. The spokeperson should've never said anything!!!!!
