Description

There are several motorist which drive too quickly down this street, as a shortcut, because they are in a rush, or in the case of younger motorists simply because they can. I was nearly hit by one motorist this morning at the intersection of Hamilton and 8th. Drivers seem to be are either confused or don't care that the intersection of 8th and Hamilton is controlled in only one direction.

In particular though the earlier driver was clearly intent on blowing quickly around the corner since there is little traffic on 8th early in the day.

To combat either driver behaviour I think it would be helpful to add small speed bumps at Hamilton and 8th(for drivers intending to zip around the corner) and mid way down Hamilton( for drivers gunning it down the street).
