To my neighbors who live on E. Rienstra between Max and Melrose, we must keep pressure on the city council to respond to the ongoing problem of speeders. They will ignore us if we allow them to - they have for decades. The best solution is speed humps given that the city can't afford to hire more police. The police department is well aware of the problem but we remain on our own.

Put pressure on Mike Diaz to respond to this problem - he and the others like their jobs and hope to keep them. Also, attend civic or council meetings and confront them with your concerns. They need to understand we will not relent and that we vote.
