This would be VERY helpful, and additional markings would help: left-turn-only arrows in that southbound lane (I witnessed drivers proceed straight through the intersection from that lane). A much more common problem is that some of those left lane drivers expect to turn south onto Rt 29. It would be most helpful to place overhead signs (adjacent to the turn signals) that direct both left turn lanes into their respective eastbound lanes, with only the right lane allowed to make the right onto southbound 29.
