DPW visited the site this morning at 8:30. There was no standing water in the driveway or roadway at that time. After a significant rainfall, as we had yesterday, it is likely that the area may not drain for a while. As the rain stops, the area drains. We will continue to monitor this area.

The ground was extremely dry as it gets more moist the water will stay as a ground freezes and hardens up we're going to have ice problems and I have to get to my mailbox I'm 71 years old I don't need to be slipping on the ice

The ground had been extremely dry so the water sinks in quickly at the ground gather moisture and hardens up from the cold we're going to have ice and I am 70 years old and I have to get to my mailbox I do not need to be falling down on the ice

If street maintenance is required throughout the winter, we will provide it. We will also evaluate additional repairs next year if the issue persists.
