Cars are crashing at the bottom of Newkirk Ave. when it snows or has ice on it. Either they are coming down to fast and can not make the turn or don't know that there is a curve at the bottom. This street should be closed when it snows or has ice on it. The bottom of the street does not get warm in the winter after it snows because no sun shines on it until the afternoon. Cars have been totaled or damaged because of this. Property has been damaged because of this including the telephone pole.
