I avoid this entrance ramp when possible due to this. Already messed up my car.

i hit this yesterday and am fearful i damaged my car...it's making a rattling noise now. it's not really a pothole its literally a speed bump/mound that takes up the whole lane. extremely dangerous.

This has been an issue for nearly a year now and causes me to go out of my way to avoid it.

Seems like an easy fix for how highly traveled this on ramp is.

I understand that paving during the cold months is not feasible, but the asphalt needs to be shaved down. It is a heave in the existing pavement.

This bump has damaged my car and I have heard of it doing the same for others. Please fix this now before other cars get damaged.

When will this be addressed?

Seems to be getting worse

I put in a notice to VDOT on February 20th. The issue is located on both City and VDOT right-of-way so hopefully one of them will be able to rectify the situation.

I’ve been following up on this issue with council person Parker Angelasto and VDOT and I encourage others to contact them, as well. Parker’s office has been helpful, but neither VDOT nor The City’s DPW will accept ownership of the issue, which dates back to 2015.

As a back story: I first reported this issue to VDOT in 2015 and in 2016 when I reported it again I was given SR#707208. VDOT told me it was a city issue, which lead me to report it to The City where I was advised it was a VDOT issue. Hopefully we see movement soon because it keeps getting worse.
