Hello,

The parking garage across from the Children's Museum has been open only for monthly passholders for the past couple of months. There is a lot of construction going on at Lyman Terrace and parking is extremely hard to find. I work at the Department of Developmental Services at 88 Front Street. We provide services to people with disabilities, many of whom come to meet with us at our office. It is dangerous and difficult for many of them to make their way through the construction zone or across busy streets to our office. We have relied on the parking garage for short term parking for our clients and their support providers, particularly in the winter, and we are having a very hard time meeting their needs with the garage essentially closed. I am also a parent of a young child and I take him to the Children's Museum sometimes and had relied on the garage for easy parking close to the building. I was wondering if we could at least get an estimate on when the machine in the garage would be fixed and it would be open to the public again. Thank you.
