This is a State Road. The turn lane was identified in the engineering previously done for the Valley Forge Rd / Sumenytown Pike project. This project has not received funding for completion of engineering and submittal to PA DOT. It was removed from the Transportation Improvement Plan by the County and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission. The township does not have the budget to complete the engineering and is working with state and federal representatives to gain alternative funding. To date the Township has spent over $1 million in engineering and acquisition for this project.
