Description
Need a stop sign or speed bumps to keep driver within the posted 25 mph between Main ST and 7th Street, and then again from 7th to Cowpath Road. Drivers pick up speed and have almost hit children and many of the elderly from Elm Terrace and Golden Living Nursing Homes

Dear Ted,
Do you live on or near Walnut Street? If so, you know how many children live in the area who ride their bikes and play ball, etc on the street. In addition, many children walk home from school and the bus stop, so it's not unusual at all for them to be running, crossing, congregating on the street on their way home.
I do wonder what kind of a driver you are that you have ruined (or as you write it running) a car driving over speed bumps. Do you not understand that you are supposed to drive over them slowly? I also wonder how you would feel if the speed limit was raised to 30 mph, (which most drivers would naturally drive at 40 mph) and one of your children or your family dog was hit by a speeding driver.
You sound pretty ignorant to me Ted. Good luck with that.

Children are not to be even near the street. it's not a play ground!! Any parent that let's there kid near a street should be locked up!!! It is dangerous at even 10 mph!!!
Your dog should be on a leash! You let your dog wonder freely! Anyone that let's there dog go wondering in the street is sick and twisted and should be locked up!
Speed bumps are often literally to high for some cars to even sit on without rubbing!
You need to educate yourself more about what roads are used for! They are not for children and dogs!!!
if people are speeding that is an indication the speed limit is to be RAISED not lowered! By law it should be set at the 80 percentile!
