OH NO IT ISN'T. NOT ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED.
We, the Citizens of Roswell have a right to know how this Developer could cut unto 2/3 rds of Old Alabama road to expand rhe entrance out into the roadway. We suspect in order to maintain the 125 natural barrier along the back they came out into the road. Possesion is 9 points of the law. They assusmed if they cut into road, put in curbs etc City of Roswell would overlook it. Well we haven't. Who authorized the allocatjin of a roadway to this Developer? If it's an error on their part then make them take out the current curbs and move the entrance back on to their property. THIS ISDUE IS NOT RESOLVED. REPLY PLEASE. dpffitz@aol.com

The Erosion Control failure was reported to the Engineering Division at 10:07 AM on 12/20/2017. The assigned City Land Development Inspector was onsite and in contact with the Developer at 10:30 AM to begin addressing the problem. The Developer moved a crew to the site and began repairs to the site and cleanup effort. A Stop Work Order was posted onsite so the only work permitted to occur at that time was correction and maintenance of erosion control measures. The Developer was issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) and Citation for the erosion control failure. In addition, the Developer was required to have the Engineer prepare revisions to the erosion control plans to address the failure. These plan changes were submitted to the City and reviewed by staff. Approval was given for the Developer to install the revised erosion control to address the failure. A follow-up site inspection is scheduled to occur 12/28/2017.
In addition to constructing the townhome development, the Developer also has approved permits and construction plans for the installation of a roundabout on Old Alabama Road at the entrance to the new development. The approved construction plans for the roundabout shift this section of the roadway slightly north (away from the new development) in order to meet the variety of roadway design criteria that is required for roundabout design. Once finished the full roadway width of four lanes (two in each direction) will be in place, along with bike lanes, sidewalks, and trails. City Engineer has reviewed the curb location in the field and it is installed as shown on the approved plans.
