How about just bringing the thing to the dpw for disposal. U drove to buy it. So just drive to dispose it.

Cut the city some slack. When the weather is bad normal procedures are secondary to snow removal. They will get to it. Or bring it to DPW yourself, like out of control said if it bothers that much.

I'm more than willing to follow the letter of the law/ordinance etc. This is the procedure that has been outlined on the website. Why is it that Greenville residents are talked down to and told to deliver while the downtown folks get them all picked up? I've delivered on many occasion e-waste (per JCIA website) directly to the waste station. All I expect is equal treatment to any other Jersey City resident. No more no less. If the downtown folks are all expected to deliver their trees then I will do so as well.
