Description

(Apologies if I just submitted an incomplete report. I'm starting over.) I walk the Bay Trail at Oyster Point every weekday. On Tuesday, 1/16, I noticed a rowboat tied up to the boulders along the embankment across the inlet from the Residence Inn, and near the bay side of the Rigel Pharmaceuticals building. The boat was still there today, and appears to be abandoned. It would be an odd place for a boater to tie up their boat. The hull is being scraped by boulders as the tide fluctuates. There is nothing nearby but office buildings. There was a bright green tote of some sort on it, which has somehow gone overboard, and has now floated eastward, and is floating in the Bay along the trail. There is a pair of what appear to be fur-lined suede hiking boots on the embankment near the boat, which may have nothing to do with the boat, but also a strange place for them to be left. I just wanted to report this, in case it may involve stolen property. I have attached a photo that I took today, January 19th.
