Description

Traffic backs up on the Roosevelt Bridge due to a stop sign at the bottom of the exit for eastbound Rock Creek parkway/Ohio Drive. There is very little traffic coming from the Kennedy Center Direction, but because it is so sporadic, it backs up traffic onto the bridge and usually it is at least halfway across. If DDOT could switch the stop sign during morning rush hour, so that those exiting from Virginia onto Rock Creek Parkway wouldn't have to stop, it would reduce the backup on the bridge. I believe that the other drivers would be minimally inconvenienced, as the traffic is so light from this direction.
