If the City has, as of 5pm Sunday, Feb 17, congratulated itself on COMPLETING its snow-removal job and parked its trucks in the garage, it has apparently forgotten that Beaverhills is included within its boundaries. Or maybe they just don't care about the families with small children, working people, and the
elderly in need of visiting caregivers who live in this area.

It has been 7 days and counting since Roydon Rd. has seen a plow truck. I find it confusing that the city has "completed" the snow removal process, when There is still barely a single lane plowed out of the snow. Just this morning a NHFD ambulance and 2 police cars had to respond to a call on Osborne, which also has not been plowed for a week, The ambulance could barely fit on the single lane available. Guess we had all better hope there is no true emergency in our neighborhood, or we may be left out in the cold. Good job New Haven I commend you on a grand job of "completing" the snow removal job.

If the City promised more than it could accomplish, it should just be honest about the fact. What's seems a bit disingenuous, was to have the Mayor make the first few robo calls on the promised matter, but when the time frame could not be met, the calls were given to an underling. Smarmy behavior, at best. Apparently, Beaver Hills will now have to wait until spring time to have its roads cleared, or until hell freezes over, which ever comes first.

Why should the OUTGOING Mayor care if he does not live up to his boasts. Our votes no longer matter to him. Get out the shovels and now ice picks folks. It's time to earn the taxes we pay to the city. Wait that can't be right?????????????
