Descripción
There is a food delivery truck that parks on the street here everyday and idles while making deliveries. It is very noisy and makes the block stink! Please help!!

Hi Jason,
Thanks for writing. Unfortunately, those trucks are not covered under the city's idling laws. They have permission to run their diesel generators to power their food making. Sometimes the generators can be upgraded to newer, cleaner versions, but their purchase is up to the owner of the truck. Perhaps you could try to communicate directly with the truck owner?

If a bus, large commercial truck or construction equipment is observed to be running its engine while stationary, please contact the Air Management Services Unit at 215-685-7580.
All other vehicles, (cars, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc.), please report to the Police Department at 911. Thank you. (mb)
