Description

I am (again) asking that the City of Grand Haven install a vehicle guardrail on the west side of Highland Dr. from the intersection of Highland Dr. and Lake Ave., south approximately 500 ft. In some areas, as close as three feet from the edge of the paved roadway, the hillside drops away approximately 100 ft. down to Harbor Ave. Vehicles turning from westbound Lake Ave. on to Highland Dr. are turning toward the ravine. There are many guardrails throughout the city that protect areas that are not nearly as hazardous as the Highland Dr. situation.
