Description
Every time it rains there is a huge puddle of water that you have to walk right through. It's the only sidewalk leading to the train station and there is no way to walk around - there is a fence on one side and some kind of utility booth on another side. People put bricks and stones into the puddle to jump from one to the other to cross it!

All,
I think the issue here lies with the fact that this "walkway" that follows the side of the light rail tracks is technically Hudson-Bergen Lightrail and the City basically refuses to do anything about it. For example there is a lack of ADA ramp on the east side of this walkway on Marin Blvd intersection, where a ticket here goes back to years with no resolution. Our only chance of getting these resolved is getting the actual attention of the new council member Solomon. The previous council member Osborne, was made aware of all these issues and we unable to find a fix/resolution on any of below:
1. The water pooling issue reported in this ticket
2. Lack of dangerous lack of ramp on Marin Blvd intersection
3. The fact that many street laps are either broken, missing the lamp, or fallen along this walkway.
Furthermore Fields was given an code variation and was in exchange was supposed to connect a walkway on the north side of these tracks, and also pay for renovation of 4-points park, yet I don't see that this will happen either since the St Peter's football field is in the way. As usual special interests get their way and community gets nothing...
For crying out: this walkway has become the main connection between Liberty Harbor/Marin Blvd light rail station and the west end of Paulus Hook get this fixed..
