Description
The Charlotte avenue off ramp from 40 west is a big community safety concern. At peak times drivers take it upon themselves to make two lanes out of one so that there is more space for people to move into position for the left and right turn lanes. This leaves zero room on either shoulder for emergency vehicles to get through to the people in the west Nashville community and when you get to the traffic light on the left side there are massive pot holes and because the lane is being split you are basically forced to drive over them because there is no space to maneuver around them. This needs to either be widened into two lanes or narrowed by bumpers so that people can't do this and have space for emergency vehicles to get through.
