Yesterday late afternoon, a large semi tried to come up VerPlanck and turn right on College Ave. He could not do so and ran over the street sign, bending it toward the ground. He then had to back down VerPlanck--several tries--to get back on Pulteney. I could not see any identifying signage on the light brown trailer.
