Thank you for using FayFixIt. Unfortunate boxes and loose trash on the outside of the container is not collected with regular household trash. Please place any loose trash in bags for your next household trash collection. The cardboard boxes have been scheduled for collection on 04/09/18. Please place your boxes curbside and clear of obstructions prior to 7am. Boxes must be emptied and flattened. Bundling is not required, but it is preferred. If you bundle the boxes, please make sure that each bundle weighs less than 20 pounds.

It’s a holiday week plus it’s spring break. Families accumulate more trash and you’re telling us we have to wait until Monday? That’s ridiculous. I’ll be calling soon if not fixed immediately.

If you were to go to the city website and look at the rules for garbage collection, you might not find this so ridiculous. The city goes thru this constantly because people do not understand the rules, much less comply with them.

I purchased a second (city approved) trash can a few years back just for this sort of thing. Rules are clear, calling will just get your blood pressure up.
