Public Works has determined to leave the snow on the gravel trails in Freeman Park in order to minimize damage from the snowplowing equipment leaving large ruts and possibly getting stuck from the soft ground and larger than normal amount of moisture present from the spring snowfalls. Disagree. The trails are frozen solid today and would not create any damage as you described. You need to take care of this. Hundreds of residents walk on these trails each day. With more snow on the way on Sunday it will be very difficult to walk due to all the ruts and holes.
