Description
At the intersection of Bloomfield Ave and Parkwood Drive there is a light on a sensor. Cars often do not stop when the light turns red. I have lived on this street for over 25 years and have seen multiple accidents at this light. It is especially dangerous for cars taking a left out of the street because of the hill on Bloomfield Ave. If there was a sign posted at either end advising/warning of the stoplight, I believe that would help out. I have seen vehicles with government plates also disregard the light and fly through. It is especially dangerous when trying to leave for work in the morning. Can signs please be added?

Since this signal is on a state roadway, the state determines the need for installing additional warning signs, with input from the Town. Also, additional signing will be installed for the upcoming upgrades to the fire station. The potential addition of required warning signs for the fire station may have an effect on the any future location of signal warning signs. The Town will re-evaluate the appropriateness of installing additional signs after the fire station project has been completed.
