I guess the dumper didn't know that Christmas trees will be picked up by Waste management in their complete size for the full month of January, and their after if cut up and placed into one's green waste can, minus it's stand. Perhaps Waste Management needs to do a better or more extensive PR about their helpfulness in picking up previously used Christmas trees.
