This, like marijuana, should be legalized, regulated and taxed. Then law enforcement would have more time and money to stop actual crimes perpetrated AGAINST others. Face reality, laws do not stop people from doing what they want to do. So manage it for the greater good of society! When recreational drugs are decriminalized all the gang warfare, border crimes and the killing of innocent people will stop. Fewer illegals (drug mules) bearing drugs will be sneaking into the USA. Criminal drug cartels will be out of business.

The idiot up there proposing the legalization of drugs and prostitution ignores that, though far from perfect, prohibition does reduce the frequency something is used. You really want to see society go into the drink? Then make it legal for anyone to walk into 7/11 and buy what they need to get high. Legalizing drugs will create millions of new addicts, and legalizing prostitution will not only draw thousands of young women into the sex industry, but will have detrimental effects on families and society as a whole.

Monday about 9:45, 6 hookers on Baldwin this morning between W. Rundell and LaGrande. 2 black female hookers standing under the tree at the Baldwin Center. Short white girl, sandy brown hair in a pony tail, flood jeans and white top, Black femaleat Hudson, in a orange and yellow dress with a hispanic female, bathing suit top and tight shorts, blonde female working corner of Home and Baldwin, another female, hispanic I believe, short with short brown hair, shorts and a white top. Pimp, black male discussing, at the corner of W. Rundell trying to flag me down when he saw me on the phone.

baldwin is the worst place to finder hookers. and the said thing is, is that these girls are doing sexual favors for $5-$10. What a shame for tthem to be so desperate for the drug o choice that they are on. And also what a shame that the men picking these girls up are taking home the deseases to theire wives or signigicant others. Something needs to be done.

This situation has been brought to the attention of the Pontiac Police Department and quite a few elected officials. It is our understanding that they must be caught before something can be done and then that is limited.

Our concern is that many children are witnessing these lewed acts and it has become necessary to escalate this to a different level in order to protect their innocence.

In addition, there is a ministry out of a church in Rochester who reaches out to these women and help them. The ministry goes right onto the streets of Pontiac. I will be attending one of their meetings to see how we as residents can cooperate with the ministry to help these women get off the streets and start a new life.
