tree was inspected and we will not remove tree unless homeowner has something signed by a licensed plumbing contractor stating that the tree would be in direct area of excavation to fix pipes - tree would have to be in direct line of the work and in there way of excavation. If this is not an option then homeowner can apply for permit and remove the tree their selves and would be at their cost to remove tree and stump
We would appreciate if the county could look at it from the drain side on the street. This tree issue has already cost us a couple thousand dollars, we would like to avoid having another plumber come out and pay even more money.
tree crew does not look at the drains - if you want the tree removed it has to be the way i explained or you can apply for a permit through the DNR and have it and the stump removed at homeowners cost not the county's cost
Thank you for reporting your issue/request to the Howard County Department of Public Works. The tree issue has been addressed and will be closed in Tell HoCo. If you require more information, please contact Department of Public Works Highways office 410-313-7450.
