Description

On November 5, 2017 I wrote the following:
The traffic Light on Brighton Avenue @ Warwick Street and Rowe Avenue is ALWAYS on its' regular cycle. It does not matter what time of the day it is. This light always has the same cycle. If no cars are on Warwick Street or Rowe Avenue, the lights still cycle to green for those streets while holding up traffic on Brighton avenue. At times there may be 10+ vehicles in the East & West lanes of Brighton Avenue waiting for the red light to change while no cars are present on Warwick Street or Rowe Avenue with the green light showing. This seems to be a waste of time and fuel for the idling vehicles on Brighton Avenue. The city seems to have gotten the timing of traffic lights right at the intersection of Congress street and Stevens Avenue. Would it be possible to replicate this at Warwick and Brighton?

Fix it! Portland confirmed that a "broken loop" was to blame and that the City had scheduled it to be repaired. It is now May 26, 2018 and NOTHING HAS CHANGED! Cars still wait for phantom traffic to pass and the price of gas keeps getting higher (which these idling cars waste). Winter has come and gone so when might this apparently fixable problem be corrected?

Q. What time of day did this occur?
