At 3pm, I sat on Chrysler for 25 minutes trying to get to Bayfront (3 blocks). Menlo Park needs to do something about this area! Facebook traffic and construction have made it impossible to get around. It also appears that the green light time coming from Chrysler to Bayfront Expressway has been significantly reduced, meaning only about 3 cars get through each cycle. Ridiculous!

The section of roadway on Chrysler between Constitution and Bayfront will be repaved this weekend and should open all the travel lanes next week. Also, the City is working with Facebook to try and find a less traffic restrictive solution for their buses.

Is there an update on the repaving schedule for the roadway on Chrysler between Bayfront & Constitution as of Monday, June 4?

The City just held a meeting with the paving contractor. The contractor was delayed due to an unforeseen issue and could not install the pavement last weekend. They will be correcting the issue on Tuesday and Wednesday (June 5th and 6th) and are rescheduled to repave the street this Saturday. While they are making the repairs traffic will be temporarily reduced to one Northbound lane until 3:00 pm and will open up to two lanes after that.

I spent half an hour yesterday try to get on Bayfront from Chrysler. The light still seems to be significantly shorter than usual. Only 4 cars an go with the 5th running a light sometimes. Why is the light shortened? And can we

I spent an hour trying to get to bayfront from Commonwealth last Thursday and it doesn't seem to get any better this week. The light @ Chrysler and Bayfront is significantly shortened so that only 4 cars can go at a time with the 5th running the light sometimes. Why is the light so short compared w/ a week ago and considered the impact is it possible to revert the change?

Today I spent 40 minutes in my car waiting to move 3 blocks. Why has the green light time been shortened so much coming from Chrysler to Bayfront? This is unacceptable! Please update us on fixing the green light time here. Someone from the City needs to come down and see what's happening during rush hour in this neighborhood.

Last night 6/5, my co-workers reported it took 17 minutes from 149 Commonwealth Driveway to the corner at Chrysler and a total of one hour to get to base of the west side of Dumbarton Bridge!!
Both directions on Commonwealth -west and East bound were jam packed at 6pm.

Please have traffic control officers out tonight to guide people to use BOTH lanes between Constitution and Bayfront on Chrysler- people are only using 1 of 2 new lanes.

Traffic signal timing is still an issue after 5pm. Caltrans “says” it’s fixed through their website reporting but it is NOT!

I drove past the Chrysler @ Bayfront intersection last night around 7:30pm and it's still visibly backed up. Please do something about this!
