As a neighbor, I was happy to see this reported...and I was excited when the lights were turned off during the night. Unfortunately, it only lasted a few nights and the lights are back on...as bright as ever. Shouldn't the lights have a motion sensor, rather than always on to illuminate the entire neighborhood? Are there any regulations to bright lights at night?
