Calling the people of Lorain animals is a little uncalled for. We need results, not insults. I've seen bags blowing down the streets, getting run over by cars, boxes and bags of garbage on the top of the garbage trucks running down the streets, not to mention the strays the get into the garbage and the junk collectors that sift through the garbage. I think the old style trucks did a much better job with the bin in the back so the workers could watch the garbage actually being put in the truck. I don't remember allied waste requiring people to use trash bags. They should just do the job they get paid for. If they can't do it, find someone who can!

I agree. Just 2 weeks ago I was walking out the retrieve my trash cans as the truck was pulling up. A pizza box got stuck in my trash can. The waste fellow pulled it out, and instead of throwing it in the truck, he threw that and the can on my tree lawn. Made no sense. I walked to the curb, picked it up and started to throw it in his truck. He actually had the nerve to tell me " Hey, you can't throw things in the truck like that."

Really?????? Do your job so I don't have to. I know it is not the nicest or easiest job in the world. But no one is making you keep this job, you can always make a change.
