How are we going to host our community event on July 1 and our Ice Cream Sundaes for the kids event on August 19 if we have to deal with this lawlessness every single day?

I rode by a couple days ago intending to stop. But didn't care to deal with the 'visitors'. Damn discouraging. I've seen brick throwing. It's crazy there.

The officers that work that area have been advised to pay extra attention to the community garden during their patrols. Thank you for your efforts to keep this space clean. Certain biohazardous items (i.e. syringes and associated paraphernalia) can be cleaned by trained personnel.

Thank you for your ongoing attention. Officer Rob responded to a large group of people drinking from open containers and exhibiting signs of public drunkenness on Monday July 2nd around 4:45 pm. Because of their presence we did not feel safe to water the garden. We very much appreciate his efforts. We will come back in the early morning and hope there will be no issues. We want people to enjoy the garden, but we do not feel that drunk and disorderly behavior, lewd behavior, urinating in public, and drug activity in the garden - or on the city streets - is acceptable.
