The Roadway Repair and Maintenance Division advised that upon inspection their inspector no evidence of ponding was observed here. Additionally, this street will be monitored for any future issues.

This is not a pounding issue. The roadway is not properly crowned and is diverting all running water away from catch basin and into crosswalk. People skid through stop sign during heavy rain and this will cause an accident in the winter when it freezes. The photo clearly shows how the water is is abruptly diverted. This issue should be reinspected because it is dangerous.
