The building in total disrepair, potholes in the parking lot, rusted metal rhodes sticking out of the ground pose danger to pedestrians.
Owners very rude, hostile towards neighbors and neighborhood children. Harassing elementary school kids at the school bus stop almost every morning. Children get to the point where they are scared to go to the bus stop to wait for the bus.
Something needs to be done about this. This is not what this neighborhood is supposed to be like.

This property is owned by people who do not care about the community or there surroundings. I have patronized this place a couple of times when I moved here only to find out how rude and disrespectful the owner and help are. Why does the town allow this to continue?

I was told by the town, Chris, the owner of The Red Apple has a permit outstanding to perform work to the outside of the building. I looked up the permit online and it’s over 9 months old. Nothing will be done and the town has a “don’t care” attitude.

I was also told by the town they cannot enforce repairs to the look of the building.

Please enact new anti-blight ordinance, the condition of the Red Apple continues to deteriorate, broken and boarded windows, peeling paint and trash around parking lot and building.

Please review exterior condition of Red Apple Convenience store and enforce blight ordinance under new anti-blight ordinance ruling of last year.

This has been going on for years. The town has not enforced anything on the owner. East Braintree always gets the short end of the stick. I have been here 17 years and always hope these eyesores would improve.

Significant updates have been made, this is still a monitored concern as all of the work is not completed.
