I was sitting on the Janelle Kay Barkema memorial swing the other morning and noticed a terrible sound while swinging. We looked up, and it's clear that one side of the mechanism affiixing the bench to the wooden frame is loose - the bolts themselves are moving, which must mean that the area around there is stripped. Thus the bench creates a safety risk - someone sitting on it could have it collapse on them.
