Hello if you wouldn't mind keeping this open until fixed I would appreciate this. I placed the same issues about 4 months ago and it got closed. Nothing happened. It's a little hard when you require either 5.00 a day for parking or 75.00 for a permit and we just wait for months. Were talking about paying for dog park access. The only other park that does this is fort de soto but they have an unleashed dog beach too. These issues have been persisting for awhile now. There is a woman who has tried contacting several times over to try to even donate money towards the new benches and nobody will even call her back. It's been over a yr on that issue for her. Her husband passed away and she just wanted to do it in his memory as I have seen in other parks. Let's keep the rep of clearwater/sandkey where it needs to be. If not for the regulars who pay but the tourist who do as well.

Great! I can't wait to see the changes happen!

The progress of the sea grape leaves from behind both trash cans and by the walk way looks great so far. Underneath the seagrapes where the rest of the leaves are piled up is where the water stands and backs up from the drainage placed right there. Once that is gone the mosquito problem will probably disappear too!

Good morning, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. Now that the holes have been filled in and shovels and rakes have been provided to assist in keeping the dirt in place and leaves cleaned, we hope it improves your experience at the dog park. Thank you and have a good day!

The fill in of holes, fill dirt, rakes, shovels and benches in the works are great! We really appreciate all of it! The other issue not addressed are red ants/ fleas and mosquitos. They are just everywhere still. Is there something for that ?

Also we are still waiting to hear back from Kathy on how we can put memorial plaques at the park. I spoke with someone about this who said they would speak to their manager Kathy about doing this for a long time park member. She is willing to donate money towards the park and the plaques. Her name is Sandy and her dogs name is Sam. She and her husband Art had been going to the park for many years . Sadly Art passed away last year in april. She would love to donate towards making the park better and placing a plaque to remember her late husband and regular park goer Arthur. It has been over a year with her trying to get that to happen . Nobody called her back or made any efforts to address this so I am doing it for her. She is willing to donate money to the dog park for materials of new things to make the park better. I think this would be a win win for the park and for her . I think this is something that needs to be addressed since she and her husband have spent so much time at the park. Some Ideas would be some benches in the middle of the park so people can sit and talk without being so far away, a gazebo in the middle, picnic bench in the middle which she is willing to pay for. She is normally there at 4 pm with sam . I know she would just love to have someone talk to her about doing this. I know it would mean the world to her.
