Thank you for using Improve Detroit. This sidewalk complaint has been referred to the City Engineering Department for investigation. Sidewalk repairs and replacements are completed only at the time when the street is resurfaced, during construction season. Our goal at the DPW Street Maintenance Division is to is to maintain the City of Detroit's roadways in order to promote safe travels within the City.

I believe this is a hazard due to the over growth of tree roots in which wemaintain the vacant land and have noticed the sidewalk rising and cracking making it dangerous as well as the tree continues to lose limbs and branches in which had to contact forestry to remove p art of tree off of street and sidewalk on three occasions, now it is leaning and breaking concrete just do not want it to cause injury to someone or destroy a vehicle.
